The spirituality of the Erris has been a feature of the area since the dawn of history. Ancient monuments, dolmens, churches, folklore and traditions highlight a rich tapestry of spiritual being. Pre Christan stories such as the Naomhóg, the Táin and other stories/artefacts/legends as well as Christian settlements on the Islands and the mainland paints a rich tapestry of spirituality.
